Improving Access to Quality Health Care
The First initiative of The Dream Life Two Sixty is the establishment and operationalization of a modern clinic in the heart of Mungule Chiefdom, located in Zambia’s Chibombo District within Central Province.
Anthu Omwe Health Centre caters to a population of more than 13,000 people, with many patients walking distances of more than 25 kilometers to reach the facility. Our services include: Medical consultation, HIV Counseling and Testing, Family planning, Under five Clinic Antenatal and Postnatal Care Emergency referrals.
The Laboratory provides essential diagnostic services, enabling accurate and timely detection of various health conditions, thereby supporting effective treatment plans. The dispensing pharmacy ensures patients have access to necessary medications, offering both prescription and over the counter drugs and providing guidance on paper medication usage. This comprehensive approach allows us to deliver high quality, evidence based care while contributing to broader public health goals, such as combating antimicrobial resistance through judicious medication management. By offering the same high quality services typically available in urban areas, the Anthu Omwe Health Centre removes barriers to access for the residents of Mungule Village. This ensures that they receive top-notch healthcare regardless of their geographic location or financial situation, thus bridging the gap between rural and urban healthcare access.
